My Poem I wrote for my son

I make the world a better place
morning, noon and night
By learning all I need to know
like how to read and write.

I know that Jesus loves me so
He sent me here to live
He gave to me this beautiful world
and showed me how to give.

I'll try to do my best each day
and do the things He did
Like loving everyone I meet
and trying to forgive.

I'll read the scriptures everyday
they are the word of God
and try to do just what they say
I'll hold the iron rod.

The prophet helps me know whats right
in all I do and say
So I will try to be a light
to everyone each day.

So listen to the still small voice
to help you everyday
to learn the things that you should know
to guide you on your way.
